Födelsedagskort till en 4-åring /Birthday card for a 4-year old

Owl in a tree / Uggla i ett träd

I'm very fond of owls and this little wooden stamp from Hero arts (LP 167) is one of my absolute favorites. I put him on a branch (cut by hand) and added some leaves (used two different punches). I wanted to achieve an early autumn feeling in my colour scheme. The sentiment is from the Hero arts "Type"-stamp set.
This card is entering the August challenge at Hero arts: "Creatures".

Only hearts can build a home - inflyttningskort

Card made for two friends, a couple who recently moved in together in their first shared apartment. With this card I wanted to achieve the feeling that all the other houses in the neighbourhood are quite ordinary, but their house, first just showing a bit in the background, is something special.

When you open up the card you can see the whole scene with a green garden (trees made using flower and leaf-punches and brads to make apples).

I coloured the houses (Hero arts stamps "Two houses") using copic markers and the papers used are from My little shoebox (Home tweet home - Birdhouse and City by the bay - Potrero hill) and different scraps of cardstock. The sentiment I added last, a quote I found on the internet which I think suits this card and my friends exactly! :-)
Entered into the August Hero arts-challenge "making a scene".
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

Summer scene

This summery card I made for my friend Jennie's birthday and I used these stamps from Magnolia: Tilda with ladybug and the summer flowers which I masked two times to create a scene. To add even more depth to the picture I placed her behind the papers, making my own passepartout, and added the doohickey grass in front. And of course I couldn't resist adding an extra ladybug and some small butterflies (punches from MS and Tonic studios) :-) Added a banner which says congratulations in Swedish. The picture was coloured with copics and distress ink fired brick was used on the butterflies and the banner's edges. Flowers and brads from my stash.
One detail that I like about this card is the small ants on the bottom of the card, they were printed onto the paper "På picknick" that I used from Maja design. (Unfortunately a little hard to see on this picture...)

This card is also entering challenge # 10 "masking several stamps" at the TOMIC-blog.

Hope you liked this card and thanks for stopping by!

Magnolia-girl in a window

This round card with Tilda in the window is my contribution to this week's Magnolia challenge over at the TOMIC-blog and also the anything goes challenge at Just Magnolia. I used Lazy days-Tilda and coloured her with Copics and some stickles for her wings. Beside her is a flower pot and a bird, also Magnolia-stamps. I cut out the window myself using a craft knife and added a little punch on top (MS deco fan). I used some fabric- and lacescraps to make the curtain. Then I made a flowerbox to put underneath and filled it with flowers, some of them also hand made. On the wall outside Tilda's window there are more flowers growing. I used a doohickey swirl from Magnolia to make the climbing plant. I will probably use this card to make a decoration for my little 2,5 year old daughter's room. It will be something for her to look at before she goes to sleep. Hope you liked it and thanks for stopping by!
